The first anniversary of the cruelest tragedy
The murder of Hind Ragab
Today marks the first anniversary of the murder of Hind Ragab, the 6 year old Palestinian girl who pleaded to be saved, but was brutally murdered by Israel with 335 bullets.
You read that right, 335 bullets were fired at Hind’s little body, and our cruel world didn’t bat an eye.
Hind was just a helpless innocent child, but neither Israel nor the so called human rights organizations cared about her tragic death, not about Layan, her sister who was also just a child, their family members, and the two paramedics who tried to rescue her.
If Hind wasn’t an Arab, the world would have turned upside down for her, but Hind’s Palestinian identity deprived her of her rights as a human being, let alone her rights as a child.
If Hind’s brutal murder by the IDF wasn’t terrorism, so I don’t what is.

On this heartbreaking day, January 29, we mourn Hind Ragab, her sister and family, the paramedics who tried to rescue her, and the more than 12,000 children murdered by Israel.
My deepest condolences to every Palestinian family grieving a loved one.
How many more must die before we say “never again” and truly mean it?
