The tale of Freedom Flotilla
Through out the past year, we have been witnessing Israel’s use of starvation as a weapon in committing genocide, and we are still watching Israel breaking the rule no. 53 of international law and starving Palestinians with impunity.
Many Palestinian elderly and children have tragically lost their lives due to Israel blocking the much needed aid from entering, and recently they have let an ironically small amount of aid to enter Gaza in a way that ensures that Palestinians remain starving, and our corrupt world isn’t batting an eye.
In a dystopian world where children are dying from hunger and patients from lack of medications and most world leaders are not only watching Israel committing these atrocities but also allowing and even facilitating it, civilians who have a sense of responsibility and hearts of gold are trying their best to take action.
Freedom Flotilla
Freedom Flotilla is a fleet of ships from the people to the people that mainly aim to break the siege imposed by Israel on Gaza, and it organized by the Free Gaza movement and the IHH in 2010.
The history of Freedom Flotilla tells you a lot about the history of Israel’s war crimes with complete impunity.
The complete absence of the proper application of international law and holding Israel accountable has caused the murder of nine Turkish civilians who were mercilessly shot by Israel.
Consciense
Conscience is a freedom flotilla civilian ship that was carrying aid and trying to break the siege, but it was bombed by Israel a few weeks ago in international water. Thankfully no one was hurt, due to the ship’s large size, but Conscience was forced to go back because of the attack.
There wasn’t any proper reaction to Israel’s illegal attack and as usual Israel got away with breaking international laws with impunity, starting from massacring Palestinians, and weaponizing starvation to bombing a civilian ship carrying humanitarian aid in international water.
